Youth-led climate justice movements are at the heart of climate and socio-environmental justice. We drive ambitious, fair, and sustainable transitions worldwide. From leading a huge socio-environmental movement in 2018 to holding policy-makers to their promises every day, youth climate movements are a driving force for change.
What is the situation?
Only 0.76% of climate grants from the largest climate foundations go to youth-led climate justice initiatives. Being the youth projects led by women, indigenous, queer people and local communities those that face the strongest structural inequalities (Youth Climate Justice Study, 2022).

Collectively, we have the power to transform the current system, ignite beautiful change, and build equitable and sustainable futures. Despite the challenges posed by the current crisis, youth climate justice organizers remain determined to challenge the status quo and break boundaries. That's why we work to provide funding opportunities and youth-to-youth capacity development to emerging youth climate justice movements.
